Annual Survey Results
Thanks to all the parents and families who took the time to complete the recent school improvement survey. We had a total of 16 people respond to the survey and the results of the survey are generally very pleasing.
Special thanks to the 6 respondents who wrote comments about the strengths of the school and the 7 respondents who gave suggestions on areas of improvement. We take these suggestions seriously and are happy to discuss with anyone their suggestions on ways we can aim to improve.
Athletics Carnival
Our carnival has been rescheduled for Monday 16th June.
Our P&F will be hosting a BBQ that will be selling sausage sandwiches, hot dogs, bacon and egg rolls, water and poppers. We are after a few helpers on the day. If your able to spare an hour or two can you please email Brad on b.toole2@bth.catholic.edu.au
We will also require many helpers on the track and with the field events.
** There will be a coffee van onsite.
R.E. Matters

The theme for 2025 is…
All Hallows - People of Hope
2025 is a Year of Jubilee!

Feast of Pentecost - Sunday 8th June 2025
This week we will celebrate the Feast of PENTECOST. Pentcost is the annual Christian festival commemoratingthe descent of the Holy Spirit on the disciples of Jesus after his ascension from earth to heaven on Ascension Day. It always falls on the seventh Sunday after Easter. Pentecost means 'fiftieth day' as it is celebrated on Pentecost Sunday, the 50th day of the Easter Season.
It is considered the birthday of the Church. As our Yr 6 students prepare for Confirmation in a few weeks, we are focussed on becoming followers of Christ that are filled with gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Sacrament of Confirmation
Our Year 6 students are preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday 22nd June. Like the disciples, they are learning about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and how these can help them to live their best life, sharing the faith by word and action.
Please keep Tayla, Dylan, Noah, David, Dakota and Caitlin in your prayers as they continue their preparation.
St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal
Winter is a very difficult time of year if you are homeless or you can't pay for your heating or other essentials. St Vincent de Paul Society - "Vinnies" - relies on generous donations from the community to support their Winter Appeal.
This winter, please help those in need in our Gulgong community find safety and security for their families. You may wish to consider making a donation by visiting https://donate.vinnies.org.au/appeals-nsw/winter-appeal-nsw or call 13 18 12.
Henry Lawson Festival
Parade
We are looking forward to participating in the upcoming Henry Lawson Festival. As a school we will be joining in the Parade at 12 noon this Saturday 7th June. We are asking all students and staff that are present in town to come and join us in the parade.
We will be dressing as people from the goldrush and marching as a school group. Students will need to wear jeans, check shirts and olden style hats/cowboy hats or colonial clothes and meet at 11.40am at the Bowling Club carpark.
P & F BBQ & Street Stall
On Saturday our P&F will be running a BBQ/Street stall outside IGA. This is the major fundraising event for the year. Attached to this note is the helpers sheet. If you're free and can volunteer a few hours your help would be greatly appreciated. You just need to send your form back or let Carolyn or Bec know in the office.
If you are unable to help in person, we are also asking for cake or slice donations to sell at our stall with the raffle. Donations will be collected on Friday afternoon in the canteen. If any donations could be cut and organised into packages/plates to sell that would be fantastic please. Please also provide an ingredients list please. We appreciate your support!!!
Special thanks to Megan Lugg for coordinating the P&F BBQ and our P&F for all their hard fundraising work.

June Long Weekend
Please remember that due to the Long Weekend there will be no school next Monday 9th June.
Enjoy the extra day off everyone!
Mrs Tomlinson
Many of you would be aware that Mrs Tomlinson is expecting twins at the end of Term 2.
Mrs Tomlinson has started her maternity leave early. We wish Emily and Marc all the best for their impending arrivals. We thank Emily for her passion, hard work and care for the students at all Hallows. We will farewell her appropriately at school when the time is right in the near future.
